In the Lists editor, can I insert a promotional item as an image in another item?

In the Lists editor, if you want to use an existing item that you've created in a new item type, you can do so by inserting the existing item as an image. Use this if you want to convert an item to a different item type, for example many users do this to convert posters to a smaller 3-layer flyer.

To convert an existing item to a 3-layer flyer template:

Note: When you add an image of an item to a new item type, keep in mind that items with different proportions may not fit properly. If you want to convert an item to a different format, try to choose a new template with a similar width to height ratio as your item.
  1. Select a 3-layer flyer template from the Flyers-Events section. (Tip: Search “3 layer” in the search box to find these templates.)
  2. If you will not be adding an event, click the Save Reusables and Edit Content button from the left column.
  3. In the editor, select the back layer by clicking near the corner of the item. The dotted image container box will display around this layer. You will be inserting an image of the original item as an image in the background layer.
  4. The Image Editing toolbar will appear at the top of the Editor. Click on the Swap Image button.
  5. From the top of the Image Selector window, click on the Promotional Items tab.
  6. You can select the “Only items in this promotion” or use the Search box to locate the Item that you want to insert as an image.
  7. Use the Zoom In, Zoom Out, Fit, and Fill buttons to adjust the size of your image.
  8. You can also use your mouse to move the image around in your image box.
  9. Click in the gray area around your item to release the layer.
  10. Click in the middle layer, then click the Delete icon from the toolbar to remove the image.
  11. Click in the gray area around your item to release the layer.
  12. Now click in the top layer and remove the text.
  13. Save your item.
