Color Swatches

Users who are assigned the Administrator role will have access to the entire Admin section of LibraryAware. Users who are assigned the Publisher role will be able to access the Template Management section under the Admin section, but not other Admin sections.

LibraryAware Administrators can create custom color swatches for use in their promotional Items.

Note: Color Swatches are used in the Classic editor, as well as in emails and newsletters. Color Swatches are not used in the Drag and Drop editor.

To create a color swatch:

  1. Click on the Admin link at the top of LibraryAware.
  2. Click the Asset Management link on the left.
  3. Click the Color Swatches link from the Asset Management menu.
  4. Click the Add Color Swatch button.
  5. At the Color Swatches form, enter the following information:
    1. Name – Enter a name for your color swatch.
    2. Click on each color square to select the color to use.  The most prominent colors are on the left.  Foreground colors apply to the text. From the pop-up, you can enter the RGB values or hex code for each color.  Or drag the arrows for the color bar in the center and move the white circle inside the large box.
Note: The second background color will always be white and cannot be changed.  And not all colors are used in all templates.
  6. Click the Save Changes button.
Your color swatch will now be available in the Editor for use in your Items.  At the Color Swatches page, you will see a preview of your color selections.  You can edit or delete a color swatch using the links to the right of the swatch.
