Introducing the Drag & Drop Email Editor
Looking for an easier and faster way to create emails that engage patrons in new ways? You’re in the right place! We’ve combined the flexibility and ease of drag and drop functionality with features you requested in an email editor in our Drag & Drop Email Editor.
You asked and we added:
- Undo and redo buttons
- Mobile responsiveness with device previews
- Video thumbnails (here’s why we suggest you don’t embed)
- DIY call-to-action buttons
- Image editing
- Social media icons in a variety of styles to drop in anywhere
- Sections that can be moved side to side, up and down, and placed anywhere you want
- Modules which allow you to save a section from one e-blast and use it in another
- Did we mention there's an undo button?
First things first
Here are a few things to know before getting started.
- You can schedule emails, access your Subscriber Interest Groups, and run reports just like you do now.
- Templates created in the Classic Editor cannot be opened in the Drag & Drop Editor but don’t worry. Our designers have created brand new templates and recreated many Classic Editor favorites so they take advantage of what this new editor offers. And like all our templates, these are easy to customize to meet your needs. Here’s how.
- NextReads newsletters, newsletter widgets including book carousels and newsletter archives are under development for this new editor. Use the Classic Editor for now.
- You still have access to millions of library-focused images and graphics, book jackets, your branding blocks, and any items you’ve uploaded into the Image Selector.
