I want to connect to Facebook and Instagram
It’s easy to post your LibraryAware items directly to Facebook and Instagram. An Administrator on your account will first need to authorize your accounts under the ADMIN tab. Only Publishers and Administrators can post to your library’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Authorize a Facebook or Instagram Page
NOTE: You must already have permission to post to your organization’s Facebook or Instagram pages from your personal account before authorizing LibraryAware to post to the pages. This will not give other LibraryAware users access to your personal Facebook or Instagram accounts, just to the Facebook or Instagram pages for which you are an admin.
NOTE: Make sure that you are logged out of your personal Facebook account in your browser before adding your organization’s account to LibraryAware. If you are not logged out in the browser, you will get a blank pop-up window instead of seeing the login page for Facebook for the authentication process in LibraryAware.
Under Facebook Settings or Instagram Settings:
When you deauthorize a Facebook or Instagram page, users at your organization will no longer be able to post to it from LibraryAware. However, this will not affect messages previously posted from LibraryAware.
- Click the Authorize button.
- The Facebook or Instagram login will appear in a pop-up window. Follow the prompts to log in and select the page(s) you want to authorize. This will not give other LibraryAware users access to your personal Facebook or Instagram accounts, just to the library pages for which you are an admin.
-
At the LibraryAware Social Accounts page, you will now see the page listed under Currently Authorized Facebook Pages or Currently Authorized Instagram Pages.
- If you need to authorize additional pages under a different login, log out of Facebook or Instagram before repeating steps 1-3.
