How do I change the branding set used in a newsletter issue?
If you have Newsletter Builder (for corporate customers), go to the Welcome to the Newsletter Builder platform page to learn about creating your newsletters.
You can select the branding set for all of your newsletters from the Administration page for the Newsletter List. See How do I create a newsletter list? or How do I edit a newsletter list? for more information.
You can select the branding set for all of your newsletters from the Administration page for the Newsletter List. See How do I create a newsletter list? or How do I edit a newsletter list? for more information.
However, from the Editor you can change the branding set to use for an individual newsletter issue, as long as additional branding sets have been created by your administrator. For information on adding new branding sets, see How do I add my library’s branding?.
Note: Newsletters will use the Email Header and Footer branding from the selected branding set.
To change the branding set:
- In the Editor, click on the header or footer in your newsletter issue. Note that your header and footer must be changed separately.
- From the Select Branding pop-up window, use the drop-down to select a new branding set for your Item. Note: You can also select No Branding if you do not want a header/footer to display in your newsletter. See below for more information.
- The branding in your newsletter will be updated.
Why would I select "No Branding" for my Newsletter List?
Your library might choose to use "No Branding" if a copy of the newsletter will be posted on the library's website (and the website has branding). In this case, your library may choose to have two newsletters that pull NextReads content from the same source newsletter—one newsletter that uses branding that is emailed to subscribers, and another newsletter that does not use branding and is posted to the website. If you use two newsletters in this way, these newsletters will each need to be edited separately.
