How do I find the search bar?


You can find the search bar in two ways: 
  1. From the LibraryAware homepage.

    • Select HOME on the navigation bar. The search bar will be at the top of the page.


  1. From a folder.

    • Select FOLDERS from the navigation bar.

    • Open the folder you want to save the item in.

    • Select the Create Item button. The search page will open with the searh bar at the top of the page.


What keywords should I use to search for templates?


Use keywords related to the topic, format, or design elements you are looking for. Some commonly used keywords include:
  • Storytime
  • Book Club
  • For Fans Of
  • Holiday
  • Closing
  • Dots
  • Bright

How do I find templates in the format I need?


Search for templates in specific formats by using the Refine column on the search page.
  1. Start with your keywords or leave the search blank.

  2. In the Refine column under Formats, select one or more format options.




How can I tell which editor a template uses?


LibraryAware has three Editor types, each designed to meet specific needs:
 
Drag & Drop Email
  • This editor allows you to create attractive and engaging e-blasts.
  • Offers the flexibility and ease of drag and drop functionality.

Drag & Drop
  • This editor allows you to create print items and widget slides using layers and elements.
  • Offers flexibility in moving and editing text, images, and shapes.

Classic
  • Our original editor. Perfect to use when creating lists of books.
  • Used for some print materials, for newsletter issues (created under the Newsletters tab), and for some e-blasts.

    NOTE: If you’d like to create an e-blast, we recommend using templates made for our new Drag & Drop Email Editor.  

You can easily tell which editor a template uses by noting the Editor Type icon at the top left corner of the template thumbnail.





How do I find templates for specific editors?


Search for templates that use specific editors by using the Refine column on the search page.
  1. Start with your keywords or leave the search blank.

  2. In the Refine column under Editor Type, select one or more editor options.




How do I find templates grouped by categories?


Search for templates grouped by categories by using the Refine column on the search page.
  1. Start with your keywords or leave the search blank.

  2. In the Refine column under Collections, select one or more category options:

    • Collection Promotion
    • Events & Programs
    • Library Advocacy
    • Library Operations and Signs
    • Readers’ Advisory
    • Seasonal




How do I find templates for specific age groups?


Search for templates for specific age groups by using the Refine column on the search page.
  1. Start with your keywords or leave the search blank.

  2. In the Refine column under Audience, select one or more options:

    • Children
    • Teen
    • Adult




How do I sort my template search results?


Search results default to the Most Relevant results first. Use the Sort by drop-down and choose a new sorting option: 
  • Date Created – Newest First 
  • Date Created – Oldest First 
  • Template Name – A to Z 
  • Template Name – Z to A




How do I preview a template?


Preview a template at your search results by selecting the Preview link below the template thumbnail.

 


How do I start using a template?


Start using a template from your search results by selecting the Create button below the template thumbnail. This will open the template in its editor. (Don't forget to save your edited version!)
