How do I move elements in the Drag & Drop Email Editor?

Wish you weren’t locked-in to the order of the elements in the template you chose? Poof – wish granted! It’s easy to move the elements of your e-blast in the Drag & Drop Email Editor. Choose the jump start method or skip to dive in deeper.

Jump start


Hover over the element you want to move until you see the three-dot tab. Hover over the tab then click the Move icon and drag the piece to its new position and drop it into place. That was fast.

MOVE STRUCTURES


Move a Structure to any area between other Structures within the e-blast. Note that Structures stack on each other; you cannot nest a Structure inside another Structure.
  1. Hover over the Structure in the e-blast to locate the Structure tab. Click on it.

  2. A three-dot tab will appear on the right. Hover to open.

  3. Click the Move icon and drag and drop the Structure to its new position in the e-blast. 




    

MOVE CONTAINERS


Move a Container from one Structure to another, even a Structure of a different layout.
  1. Hover over the Container in the e-blast to locate the Container tab. Click on it. 

  2. A three-dot tab will appear on the left. Hover to open. 

  3. Click the Move icon and drag and drop the Container to its new position in the e-blast.





MOVE BLOCKS


Move a content Block from one Container to another, even a Container of a different size. 
  1. Hover over the Block in the e-blast.

  2. A three-dot tab will appear on the right. Hover to open.

  3. Click the Move icon and drag and drop the Block to its new position in the e-blast.
