I want to post to social media
First, an Administrator must authorize your accounts under the Admin tab. Only Publishers and Administrators can post to your library’s social media accounts.
- Search for templates to post
- Post an item to Facebook
- Post an item to Instagram
- View the posting schedule
- Pin an item to Pinterest
- Save an item as an image to post to Twitter (X) or other platform
- Use keywords related to the topic, audience, or design elements to find the templates you need. Check out our cheat sheet on Finding the Right Template with Keywords for more tips.
- Then, limit it to the social media platform and/or the format you need.
PRO TIP! LibraryAware’s Widget templates create digital graphics that are perfect for posting online. The 1:1 widget aspect ratio works great for most platforms. Try including 1:1 as part of the keywords in your template search.
NOTE: Instagram has specific image size requirements that affect the compatibility of certain templates. These template formats allow posting directly to Instagram from LibraryAware:
- Flyer-Books (Portrait)
- Flyer-Events (Portrait)
- Flyer-Signs (Portrait)
- Posters (Portrait)
- Widgets (1:1)
- Widgets (2:3)
You can post any item you create in LibraryAware directly to your library’s Facebook page.
- In LibraryAware, select the FOLDERS tab from the main navigation toolbar.
- Open the folder containing the item you want to post.
- Find the thumbnail of the item and hover over it to locate the three dots menu. Click on it to open sharing options.
